Pair of Cast Bronze Vases, Japan, 19th/20th century, bulbous with waisted neck and wide mouth, near straight sides, resting on a foot ring, one depicting pairs of goldfish and frogs with lotuses, the other three carp with water plants and lotuses, two patterned bands each around the shoulder and foot rim, gilt details, three-character mark to base, ht. 11 3/4 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the preservation of the collections of the Danvers Historical Society.
