Vertical Woodblock Diptych, Japan, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839-1892),one of sixteen vertical diptychs published in the 1880s, depicting a legendary scene with a priest saved by two deities from a waterfall, embossed details, signed "Oju Yoshitoshi ga" with a seal, color on paper, framed and glazed, oban tate-e, print 28 3/4 x 10 3/8 in.
