Thangka Depicting a Warrior God in Armor, Tibetan China, 18th/19th century style, with a spear in his right hand, riding on a white horse, against a flamed nimbus in the back, accompanied with other warrior dieties riding on horses, tigers, an elephant, accompanied with other warrior deities reiding on horses, tigers, an elephant, and a qilin, populated with other animals including a hog, shishi lions, a tiger, a leopard, and other mythical animals, with accompanied with other warrior deities riding on horses, tigers, an elephant, and a qilin, populated with other animals including a hog, shishi lions, a tiger, a leopard, and other mythical animals, with musical instruments and an offering of food in front, each figure with inscription in Sanskrit in gold (mostly erased now),distemper on cotton, gilt and mineral pigment details, backed with paper, 23 3/4 x 17 1/8 in.
