Thangka Depicting the Green Tara, Tibetan China, late 17th/early 18th century style, sitting on a lotus cushion seat above the water, against a round halo and nimbus in the back further adorned with floral branches and leaves, surrounded with deities standing or sitting on oval pedestals in rows with discrete halos, including multi-armed bodhisattvas and Vajrapani deities, against a dark green ground with a heavenly landscape, gilt details, distemper on cotton, backed with paper, 18 3/4 x 14 1/4 in.
