Description:

Two Qing Court Official's Summer Hats, China, 18th/19th century, a silk hat lined with red damask silk, with bound silk rolled edges and with red silk fringe and gilt hat buttons, and a woven straw hat with red fringe, gilt metal hat button and woven inner ring, ht. to 7 1/2 in.
Estimate $400-600

Edges of woven hat slightly frayed, wear to inner band, slight staining to silk hat and wear to trim.
