Famille Verte Jar, China, late 19th/early 20th century, the bulbous form decorated with scholarly objects and vases of various forms and decoration filled with floral arrangements, over a cream ground with a fine crackle, with bands of incised brown resembling bronze, ht. 9 1/2 in.
Provenance: Descended in the family of Mrs. Hope Goddard Iselin of New York and Newport.
