Illustrated Folio Manuscript, Persia, 19th century, opaque color and gold on paper, with four columns of Nastaliq calligraphy in reserves above and below a painting depicting a battle scene, with men riding horses and camels and carrying banners on two sides of a battlefield, with parts of the painting overlapping the gilt and flower vine patterned borders, the reverse with four columns of Nastaliq script, and a cartouche containing two lines in red, signed lower left, framed and glazed, sight size 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 in.
