Bronze Figure of a Female Deity, Possibly Maya Devi, India or Tibet, depicted as a woman dancing, with one hand raised above her head, the other held at chest height and pointing inward, her back leg extended and resting on the tips of her toes, her face and eyes cast downward, standing on an elongated round lotus base, ht. 16 in.

Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Dr. Timothy Weber, acquired while he was working in Wutai Shan in 1968.

minor crack in the center of the raised arm and at the belt at the waist, overall patina and surface wear and dirt.
