Four Assorted Items, China, a jadeite carving of a bird seated with a peach branch in its mouth, with a conforming wood openwork stand, wd. 2; an amber composite carving of a rolled lotus leaf (chipped to one side) with a crab and catfish on top, dia. to 2 5/8; a carved wood stand with two holes on top (photographed as stand for amber carving),ht. 1 3/8; and a miniature pottery figure (with broken head) standing on a podium with his both hands raised to chest, ht. to 4 3/8 in.
Provenance: The descendants of Dudley L. Pickman (1779-1846),and Charles G. Loring (1828-1902) of Massachusetts.
