Pair of Carved Mahogany Side Chairs, probably Massachusetts, mid-18th century, with spooned crests, vasiform splats, raking stiles, and slip seats on frontal cabriole legs ending in pad feet and joined to the chamfered rear legs by block-, vase-, and ring-turned stretchers, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 41 3/4, seat ht. 19 in.
Replaced blocks under seats, added nails to underside of stretcher joints on one chair, loss to ring-turning.
