Description:

Green-painted Tinned Sheet Iron Lantern, probably England, late 18th/early 19th century, hexagonal, the three-tiered top pierced with dots, hearts, crescent moons, diamonds, and crosses, baluster finials, (imperfections), ht. 16 in.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the preservation of the collections of the Danvers Historical Society.
Estimate $300-500

Top tier is loose, but intact, missing two panes of glass and two finials.
