War of 1812 Naval Victories Commemorative Kerchief, c. 1815, copper plate-printed red ink on cotton memorializing American naval victories of the War of 1812, with eight battle vignettes, the largest being the battles of Lake Erie and Lake Champlain, floral background with eagles, portraits, and Liberty figure, the black border with anchors, flags, and floral motifs, in a wooden frame, (toned),textile ht. 28 1/2, wd. 34 1/2 in.

Estimate $2,500-3,500

Minor stains at center and on "Constitution and Java" and "Hornet and Peacock" images, small area of mending at right border, few small holes and separations.
