Needlework Harrington Family Record, Ruth Harrington, Waltham, Massachusetts, c. 1810-15, fully worked in silk threads on a coarse linen ground, the record designed as an apple tree under a tassel, the base of the tree with two heart-shaped reserves with the names Solomon and Hannah Harrington, their vital statistics, and the date of their marriage, from which sprouts the tree with the names and vital statistics of three Harrington daughters: Lydia, Ruth, and Hannah, 14 3/4 x 11 1/2 in., in a modern frame.
Note: An old backing is affixed to the reverse with genealogical information on the Harrington family.
