Small Silk and Watercolor Needlework Picture, Elizabeth Lovering, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 1809, worked in threads on a silk ground, depicting a mother and daughter standing in a landscape with a Federal house, the maker identified on a small paper oval at lower center, (minor stains to silk), 10 1/4 x 13 1/2 in. (sight), in a molded rosewood veneer frame.
