Export Porcelain Partial Tea and Chocolate Service, China, mid-18th century, black floral and butterfly design decoration with gilt highlights, the set comprising a bulbous teapot, two waste bowls, a hexagonal dish, a leaf-form dish, a small cream jug, a small plate, nine saucers, six tea bowls, and five handled chocolate cups, (imperfections and repairs), teapot ht. 5 1/2, overall lg. 7 3/4, leaf-form dish 7 1/4, bowl dia. to 6, cream jug ht. 3 3/4 in.
teapot cover broken and repaired with losses, wear to some gilt, ear to black decoration on some pieces, especially hexagonal plate, larger waste bowl, and some teabowls.
