Lakota Pictorial Beaded Hide Vest, c. 1890s, cloth lined and beaded on the front with American flag and two mounted warriors carrying coup sticks, the back has two horseback warriors with pistols and two standing warriors with staffs, all are in traditional garb including full war bonnets and hairpipe breastplates, further decorated with quill-wrapped fringe with horsehair and tin cone danglers, metallic fringe along the bottom, 20 1/2 x 22 in.
