Signed "Laure de Chatillon" l.l.
Oil on canvas, 38 3/4 x 28 3/8 in. (98.2 x 72.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure, surface grime.
Estimate $2,500-3,500

With a partial gummed label inscribed ".../Museum of Fine Arts" affixed to the frame.
Under black light retouch around the nose, face, right side and left side of the figure visible. Fine craquelure throughout the entire surface of the painting.
