Condition: Sewn at edges to silk or similar support, tags removed from shawl and preserved on backing, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Purchased from the publisher on May 25, 1995, then by descent to the current owner.
N.B. A photocopy of the original receipt accompanies the lot.
