Two Venetian Views: Canale magnum usque ad Palatium Familice Michaelice... and Magni Armamentary Veneziarum Portoe Duce.... Identified within the plates. Etchings on paper, plate sizes 12 3/8 x 18 7/8 in. (31.3 x 47.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Pale foxing, vertical central crease to both, pencil annotations (translation of title to English) to lower margins, creases to corner of Canale l.l., not examined out of frames.

Canale was examined out of the frame. Sheet measures 17 3/4 x 24 1/8 in. (45.0 x 61.3 cm) and is not laid down or hinged. Crease in the l.r. corner. Slight rippling. Scattered minor abrasions and surface grime on verso. Magni was not examined out of the frame, but there are no visible creases, and the work appears to be housed in a similar manner. There is a fox mark in the image c.l.
