Le cirque au clown jaune, 1967, edition of 150 (Mourlot, 443). Signed "Marc Chagall" in pencil l.r., numbered "9/150" in pencil l.l. Color lithograph on paper, image size 26 1/2 x 19 5/8 in. (67.2 x 49.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Toning, mat burn, gentle rippling, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: Purchased in 1969 from an unidentified Michigan gallery by the current owner.

Sheet size is 30 1/4 x 23 in. (76.8 x 58.3 cm). Deckle edge on right side. Mat burn and toning to the recto. Subtle handling creases. Reverse with ghost image of the print from the inks, and gentle toning. Numbered "32" within a circle and "#264" in pencil in the l.r. and u.l. corners respectively on the reverse. Hinged to the window mat at two places on the top of the reverse.
