Rotherhithe, 1860, final state (MacDonald, 70vi/vi; Kennedy, 66iii/iii). Signed and dated within the plate, identified on a label from C.W. Kraushaar Art Galleries, New York, affixed to the backing. Etching on Japan paper, plate size 10 7/8 x 7 7/8 in. (27.5 x 20.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins 3/4 inches or more with deckled right edge, soiling and toning to margins, pencil annotations to lower margin and verso, pinholes to corner u.l.
Provenance: From the collection of George Jones Dyer; Norfolk, Connecticut, by descent to the current owners.

Sheet measures 13 3/16 x 9 5/8 inches, and is hinged with white cloth tape at the upper corners on verso.
