Sailboat, 1932, probably from the edition of 30, published by Alfred Stieglitz (Zigrosser, 155). Signed and dated "John Marin 32" in pencil l.r., signed and dated within the plate, identified in an inscription from an old backing affixed to the new backing. Etching on laid paper with partial watermark, plate size 6 7/8 x 9 1/4 in. (17.4 x 23.4 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins about 1 inch, several pale fox marks, subtle toning or soiling, glue along upper edge on the verso.

The sheet measures 8 3/4 x 11 1/2 in. No American Artist's Group stamp to verso
