Leonard Freed (American, 1929-2006)

Hydrant, Harlem, 1963, printed later. Signed "Leonard Freed" in pencil on verso l.r., titled, dated, and inscribed "...USA 63-3-11-27" in pencil on verso l.l., stamped "LATER PRINT" and "© Leonard Freed-Magnum" in black ink on verso. Gelatin silver print, image size 11 5/8 x 7 3/4 in. (29.5 x 19.8 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Scattered minor handling crimps.

Provenance: The estate of the artist.

Sheet measures 13 3/4 x 10 3/4 in. (35.0 x 27.4 cm). Minor handling crimps u.l. and l.l., breaks in the emulsion at the l.r. corner of the sheet (not in the image). No additional issues to report.
