George III Sterling Silver-inset Tray, London, 1804-05, maker's mark "SM" or "WS," the reticulated dish with a central armorial and monogram to reverse, set within a mahogany tray with two scrolled handles, lg. handle to handle 19 1/4 in., approx. 48 troy oz.

Silver with minor surface wear abrasions, very slightly indented (not noticeable unless on eye level with surface),one cusp of reticulated quatrefoil pushed upward from underside slightly. Otherwise in excellent overall condition with no bents or repairs to reticulated elements. Wood tray crack through to one side and minor abrasions throughout.
