S. Kirk & Son .917 Silver Salver, Baltimore, late 19th century, mark double struck, with a leaftip border and repousse-decorated floral edge centering a trelliswork interior with vacant cartouche to center, on three claw-and-ball feet, dia. 14 1/4 in., approx. 37.6 troy oz.

Age-typical surface wear to repousse rim, minor abrasions to central surface. Vacant cartouche shows very minor indentation and abrasions, but does not appear to have had an engraving removed (surface still strong).
