KPM Porcelain Plaque Depicting "The Garden of Love," Germany, late 19th/early 20th century, based on a painting by Peter Paul Rubens, rectangular, polychrome enamel decorated with a number of cavaliers and ladies dressed for a garden fête, with putti encircling overhead and a fountain statue of Venus, impressed KPM and scepter mark, framed, plaque ht. 11 1/8, wd. 13 1/4 in.
The plaque is in very good condition with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. The frame is in very poor condition.
