Wedgwood Black Basalt Vestal Lamp and Cover, England, 19th century, modeled with a female figure reading from an open book and seated atop the shoulder of an oval lamp molded with fluted top above acanthus leaves and bellflowers, impressed mark, ht. 8 1/4 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

Cover: Restored finial and rim.
Lamp: Slight rim chip restored.
