Rococo-style Vernis Martin and Gilt-bronze Display Cabinet, France, late 19th/early 20th century, with bombe front, glazed panels on front and sides with front door opening to interior glass and one wood shelf, with fête galante and putti scenes hand-painted on frieze and case, shaped apron with painted floral sprays, all supported on cabriole legs, ht. 55 3/4, wd. 26 1/2, dp. 16 in.
Top with numerous surface scratches; structurally sound; scratches and loss to central door anel; one side panel heavily worn and missing part of brass frame; one piece of brass lifting.
