Glazed Tripod Earthenware Pot, China, mouth in the shape of a lingzhi mushroom, decorated with an amphibian animal to one side and an animal mask to the other, unglazed animal-head feet, the transparent glaze with streaks of bleeding glaze in grayish blue, with a conforming round openwork wood stand, ht. 6, dia. to 5 1/4 in.
Provenance: From the estate of Kai Suhr, who supplied Chiang-Kai-shek's army in China between the years of 1938-1939.
