George III-style Carved Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Desk/Bookcase, the upper section with a dentil-molded broken-arch pediment and carved fretwork centering a fluted pilaster, over two glazed, hinged doors revealing three shelves, set on a base with slant-lid opening to a fitted interior of valanced compartments, drawers, book-form document drawers, and a paneled central prospect door, over a case of four graduated, cockbeaded drawers and bracket feet, (imperfections), ht. 91, wd. 39, dp. 20 1/4 in.
