Four Agate and Hardstone Carvings, China, 19th to 20th century, a small carved agate teapot, mottled gray, red, and yellow stone, the cover with a seated mythical lion finial, incised on the base "tian hu" (heavenly container),ht. 2 1/4; a toad-shaped pendant with a hole at the mouth, dark brown stone; a hippopotamus, celadon stone with white and russet markings; and an archaic-style openwork brush stand with two seated figures, celadon stone with brown markings, ht. to 1 7/8, wd. to 4 5/8 in.
