Etruscan Revival Gold Necklace, c. 1870s, the pendant in the form of Achelous with granulation and wirework, suspended from a woven chain, lg. 17 in.

Note:The pendant was inspired by the famous ancient example excavated in Chiusi, Italy, and now in the collection of the Musee du Louvre.
