Bruno Paul (1874-1968) Chandelier, Germany, c. 1920 ten curved and upswept gilded metal arms hold frosted glass shades, the arms linked by chains of beaded glass suspending glass drops, the arms meet in a central silvery bowl hung with two tiers of glass drops with a chain of glass pears terminating in a ball at the center, a column composed of three silvery glass fluted cones from the bowl, the lower two with curved, gilded arms suspending short chains of glass beads and elongated glass drops, ten candle-based sockets, hard wired, unmarked, ht. 29, dia. 38 in.
