Lozenge form with a panel of black and green enamel depicting sunflowers in a vase on a table, on steel chain, illegible marks and stamped ED on reverse, pendant ht. 2 7/8, wd. 1 1/4, chain lg. 23 3/4 in.
Note: Little is known about Etienne David, whose shop was on the rue de la Paix in Paris. This pendant is typical of his work, which consisted of stylized flowers and geometric planes. See European Designer Jewelry by Ginger Moro.
