Torah, A Stoneware Sculpture in Two Parts. The larger piece signed and dated "© S Donneson '81" on the bottom edge, the smaller initialed "S.D." and marked with an "X" on the bottom edge l.l. Stoneware with impressed surface design and areas of glazing, larger piece measuring 15 x 21 1/4 x 1 in., smaller 15 1/4 x 9 1/2 x 1 1/2 in. Condition: Scattered firing cracks.

The work is assembled so that the curved piece forms the freestanding support, and the smaller piece is placed in front, overlapping and covering the right side, leaning back against the curved piece.
