Thirty Sketches and Correspondence, works include a watercolor on paper of a seated male god, signed and dated "Misha 1.14.42," four ink sketches on yellow cardboard, thirteen ink sketches on red vellum, seven ink sketches on various papers, and four pencil portrait sketches. Sizes to 17 1/2 x 13 3/4 in., unframed. Condition: All are loose, many with creases.
Provenance: Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Ward, New York.
N.B. Accompanied by a collection of letters from the artist to Jonathan and Ruth Ward over an extended period of time.
