John Meyenberg (American, 1860-1936)
Old Gentleman Seated with Cane. Signed "John Meyenberg" l.l., inscribed "Drawing by John Meyenberg/Paris Scholarship" on a paper affixed to backing board. Charcoal and white pastel on paper, sight size 38 x 27 in., framed. Condition: Paper toned, tears, water stains.
Estimate $600-800
The paper is toned and has discolorations, including waterstaining along bottom. There is a 2 in. tear u.c. and a diagonal tear l.r. Old wood panel backing with wall paper fragments bears inscription. Not examined out of frame.
