South Caucasian Long Rug, late 19th century, the navy field featuring three and a half polychrome stepped diamonds inset with octagons flanking a central ivory cruciform medallion enclosed by quadrupeds, stylized blossoms, and checkerboard devices, all within a wide ivory large-scale "crab" main border, 9 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 10 in.
