Description:

Reuge Singing Bird Box with Clock, Sainte-Croix, Switzerland, late 20th century, gilt trimmed and enameled rectangular box with a 3/4-in. Arabic numeral clock dial on front, floral decorated lid signed M. Seilfert on top, opens to reveal an iridescent feathered singing bird which turns, flaps its wings, and opens and closes its beak, marked on bottom 1248 Reuge Music Saint-Croix Made in Switzerland, all resting on mushroom-shaped feet, wd. 4 3/4, dp. 3, ht. 2 in.
