Walter Durfee Mahogany Tubular-bell Chime Clock, retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York, 1885, scroll-top case with cast brass Corinthian mounted freestanding fluted columns, flanking the composite brass dial with silvered Arabic numeral chapter ring, engraved center, and spandrels, moon's age in arch, subsidiary dials, and boss reading Tiffany & Co. New York, acanthus leaf-carved cove molding above the beveled glass waist door with fan carving at the top, carved step-molded base, nine nickel-plated tubular bells marked Walter Durfee Co. PROV. R.I., eight-day time, strike, and Westminster chime movement, with three brass-cased weights, and a pendulum, ht. 100 in.

Fabric back of clock in need of replacement, lacking one of the carved front feet, all others original but not on clock. Tubular bells need re-stringing. Movement needs cleaing and lubrication. Pendulum rod missing regulating rod and nut.
