French Empire Wall Regulator, c. 1840, mahogany case with pediment top, glazed full-length door with square dial opening and Gothic lancet top lower section, 10-in. round porcelain dial with Roman numerals surrounded by an engine-turned brass bezel, eight-day, weight-powered movement with dead-beat escapement and maintaining power, with a grid iron pendulum and a brass-cased weight, ht. 74 in.
