French Gilt and Marble Figural Mantel Clock, c. 1880, floral-filled urn atop the central plinth with ribbon and garland decoration surmounting the 3 1/2-in. blue Roman numeral porcelain dial with gilt pierced hands, and flanking classical patinated brass maidens, all mounted on the central base with a pierced, swag-decorated, freeze, bellflower and egg-and-dart moldings, marble base with applied cast flowers, and resting on six mushroom-shaped feet, eight-day time and countwheel strike mechanism stamped in part Dussault A Paris, lg. 23, ht. 23 in.

lacking pendulum, hairline "V" shaped crack between the 9 and 10 on dial, traces of original gilt, small chips to marble base corners, object right maiden arm is off but present.
