John Walker Rosewood Chime Clock, London, c. 1870, No. 6967, break arch top with four urn finials, ormolu arch decoration, side sound frets, and foliate scroll feet, door with chamfered columns, composite brass dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter ring marked JNo. Walker, 230 Regent St., No.6967, with subsidiary dials in the arch marked Chime/Silent, and Chime on Eight Bells/Cambridge Chimes, eight-day, triple chain fusee movement with eight bells and gong strike marked as the dial, all regulated by a pendulum, ht. 18 in.
Clock ticks and strikes. Chime marked Cambridge on dial but sounds like Westminster.
