Scottish Mahogany Tall Clock, c. 1820, flat-top string-inlaid hood, freestanding turned columns flanking the Roman numeral painted iron dial with pierced gilt hands, floral spandrels and a classical woman in the arch, calendar and seconds subsidiary dial, crotch mahogany full-length tombstone waist door flanked by crossbanded and string-inlaid columns, lower section with crotch mahogany central panel resting on squat French feet, eight-day time and hour strike movement with false plate reading: Whitaker Shreev Halifax, powered by two lead weights and regulated by a tin-faced pendulum, ht. 84 in.
