Jules Jurgensen 18kt Hunter Case Watch, Copenhagen, No. 13224, 1875, front lid opens to the Roman numeral porcelain dial marked Jules Jurgensen/Copenhagen, sunk seconds and blued-steel moon hands, inside lid stamped Jules Jurgensen/18K/13224, cuvette engraved with maker's name, serial number and Patent 1867 January 15, nickel movement signed and numbered by maker, patented crown setting and winding, lever escapement, bimetallic balance and polished steel regulator, all in a Jurgensen mahogany display box with hinge edge stamped with maker's name and origin, factory card reading in part: Jules Jurgensen Chronometer-Watch-Maker/ This is to certify that the accompanying Patented Keyless Lever, No. 13224 has been manufactured in my establishment December 1875/ Jules Jurgensen, and directions for setting the hands, dia. 55 mm, 155.6 g.
