French Year IX Naval Cutlass and Scabbard, c. 1800-01, iron hilt and grip with handguard, stamped 295 on the guard, steel blade with engraved anchors, and a steel scabbard, blade lg. 27, overall lg. 32 in.

Some light dings and surface rust on the scabbard, but in good condition.
