New England Fowler, c. late 18th century, walnut stock with a brass triggerguard, brass sideplate engraved with foliate designs and a panoply of arms, a British lock with a small crown stamp under the pan, octagonal to round barrel, brass ramrod pipes, brass nose band, and an iron ramrod, barrel lg. 43 3/8, overall lg. 59 1/2 in.
Provenance: Deaccessioned from a local museum.

Stock has some dings and nicks, iron parts have some age consistent patina, some pitting near the breech, lock functions properly, overall in good condition.
