Cowpens-style Flag, c. mid to late 19th century, red and white machine-sewn wool bunting stripes, blue wool bunting canton with twelve hand-sewn white cotton stars in a circle, with one in the center, coarse linen hoist with some repairs and hand-sewn grommets, attached is a note which states "Civil War flag brought in by Dr. Hart, will get data on it later," ht. 51, lg. 89 in.
