Two Portraits of Western Women
Unsigned.
Oil on canvas, one of the women holding a basket of flowers, the other with a contemplative gaze and with her elbows on a table, 14 1/4 x 11 in., in likely original carved hardwood frames.
Condition: Relined, retouch.
Estimate $1,500-2,500

retouch in spots on painting of woman holding a flower and basket; more extensive crackfill retouch to contemplative woman, and possibly to address an old tear.
