The painting has some minor spots and lines of retouch in the dress and a small area on the forehead which is visible under the UV light. There are some small scattered spots of retouch in the background. It was relined probably in the mid-20th century and it appears that a new stretcher was put on at that time. The frame dates to the mid-20th century.
